Sansa Ring Pendant
£65.00 – £120.00
This pendant is a variation on a concept that’s been used quite widely but I wanted to refine it a little and create a version that would allow you to have several variations within the same design.
The limitation of this concept is that the size of the drop is dictated by the size of the ring through which it has to pass and, to my mind, this tends to throw things out of proportion. My solution is to have a tiny catch on the ring that allows you to swing the chain around your neck and then attach it to the ring rather than posting the drop through it.
This also means that you can interchange the elements and it’s this that gives you the option for variations or ‘upgrades’.
This is the first and simplest variation incorporating a gold hoop and a bead on the drop. The hoop measures 11mm and the bead 8mm.
If you opt for a silver bead then you get a little gold collar that sits between the bead and the chain and with the gold bead there’s a silver collar.
This version is quite understated and great for everyday wear. There are gem set variations on the way that give you the opportunity to make the piece rather more dressy.
