The process of ordering
For any product, choose from the various option in the dialogue to the right and then add to your shopping basket
Once you’ve finished shopping you can click the “View Cart” button on any page and you will be taken to the shopping cart at which point you can add, remove or edit items before checking out. You can then choose from the various payment options.
If you’re paying by card then all your payment information is entered on a secure server and a third party secure payment company (Pay360) verifies the data and the credit status of the card before accepting or declining payment. I don’t see your card details at any point and only received your delivery address and details of the order.
The same is true if you are paying using Paypal. All your information is safe with them and I just receive the order details and the money (minus their generous commission, of course.)
On completing and submitting your order you will receive confirmation by e-mail. I keep the materials for most of what I make in stock at all times so that I can make and send your jewellery within a few days. If it’s going to take more than a week then I’ll contact you to let you know and give you the opportunity to cancel the order if necessary.
If you don’t want to order online.
I appreciate that some people are not happy to use credit cards on the Internet. If this is the case then you can either call me with card details on 01275 390357, or make a bank transfer using the information available at checkout. If you would rather send a cheque (remember those?) then please make it payable to Church House Jewellery Ltd. and send it to PO Box 129, Bristol, BS20 6WJ. I will dispatch your order once the payment’s cleared. I regret that I cannot handle foreign currencies other than through my regular credit card payment system.
Means of delivery
Delivery within the British Isles will generally be by Royal Mail Special Delivery with insurance to the appropriate value. This service guarantees next day delivery with the exception of Saturday and Sunday.
You can opt for 1st class post if you prefer but this is not a secure or guaranteed service and, having offered a secure service I can’t be responsible for any loss or damage in transit.
Outside the British Isles delivery will be via the most appropriate and secure service that I can find for your country. For full details see the shipping page
Import and local taxes
You will be responsible for the payment of all import and other local taxes applicable in respect of any item(s) which you purchase from Church House Jewellery Ltd.
Your order
In placing an order by post or through this site you are making an offer to me to purchase the item(s) you have specified and I must reserve my right to refuse to accept your offer should I consider it to be necessary, e.g. where there is doubt as to the bona fide nature of payment or if goods are out of stock and cannot be supplied within the time frame you require. I will, of course, inform you if there is a problem with your means of payment or if I cannot meet normal delivery times and I will then give you the option of cancelling the order or agreeing on other arrangements As a general rule, I will not dispatch your order until I have received confirmation of payment.
Returns
You have the right to return goods if you are not entirely satisfied with them or if they do not fit, provided:
- The goods are returned within 30 days of receipt.
- They reach me in perfect condition in the original packaging.
You are responsible for ensuring that the means of delivery is adequate, that the items are insured against loss or damage and that proof of posting and of receipt is provided.
In the U.K. Royal Mail’s Special Delivery service provides all these aspects but you must make sure that you choose the appropriate level of compensation with regard to the value of the goods being sent.
There is a returns form on the back of your guarantee. Just complete it and and return it with the goods to the following address:
Church House Jewellery Ltd
PO Box 129
Bristol
BS20 6WJ
U.K.
The information that I ask for on the Returns form allows me to make changes that will prevent other customers being disappointed with my goods and service. If you fill in the form, therefore, I will refund your payment in full. If you fail to do so then I will refund everything except the postage and packing charge.
Refund will be issued in the form of the original payment, in normal conditions within 30 days of my receiving the goods back. Please remember that I am unable to refund or exchange items which have been damaged after you have received them.
