Silver Calatrava Cross Cufflinks #2

The Order of Calatrava was one of the four Spanish military orders and the first military order founded in Castile, but the second to receive papal approval. The papal bull confirming the Order of Calatrava was given by Pope Alexander III on September 26, 1164.
The order is no more but they left behind them a very attractive cross emblem with fleur-de-lis elements.

I was asked to make these silver cufflinks for a client and cast a second pair … just in case.
They measure 20mm across and weigh 13 grams.
