Ring of Pearls ... ring

Here we have:
A silver and gold plate ring with a reticulated concave surface set with 16, 2.5mm pearls on an 18ct gold wire.

What’s the story?
I made a mock-up of a gold ring for a client and, as I was playing with pearls at the time, I thought I’d give this idea a try.

Detail:
Normally, pearls are a little too vulnerable to be put all the way around a ring but I’ve set them over holes in the silver so that there is a little bit of give should they be bashed. Nonetheless, not one to wear rock-climbing.
The ring is 1cm wide and as it’s gold plated, the color may wear off a little at the margins of the ring but the majority of the surface will be protected by the raised rims and the pearls.

Can it be sized?
No, but I could make you another one to size. larger sizes may require more pearls and so cost a little more.
