Alpha and Omega

Alpha and Omega are the first and last letters of the Ancient Greek alphabet. As such they have often been used as a symbol for something that is all encompassing.
In this context I intend them to represent the beginning and completion of a love commitment so the Alpha ring is given as an engagement ring and the Omega as a wedding ring. The Omega ring fits around the Alpha ring, encompassing it protectively.
