Ada's Love-laces

A few years ago I attached these little hearts to the laces of one of my wife’s favourite pairs of boots on Valentine’s Day. It took her about a week before she discovered them but she was delighted.
If you’re looking for an original Valentines Day gift then this may be it.

I make them to fit a normal rolled lace end but, if you’ve got chunky laces I can make you something to fit. You’ll need some super glue to attach them and these ones have been flapping around on my wife’s boots for several years now so they are pretty secure.

In case you’re wondering, my wife’s not called Ada; these are named in honour of the daughter or Lord Byron, Ada Lovelace the 19th Century mathematician who was the companion of and collaborator with Charles Babbage, the ‘father of computers’.
